Welcome to Taekwondo Preschool where you could learn and share your experiences with everyone who practices taekwondo! Even if you don't know taekwondo, I hope the information provided at Taekwondo Preschool would enlighten and encourage you to start learning and training the Korean Martial Arts.
At the moment, the information found on this website covers mostly World Taekwondo (WT) style. Gradually it will expand with more information about the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) and other Korean Martial Arts. Also want to thank Wikipedia for providing over 5% of the text information found inside Taekwondo Preschool! There are many great and amazing taekwondo websites out on the Internet such as Kukkiwon's Taekwondo Headquarters, World Taekwondo Headquarters, ITF Korea Headquarters, and Taekwondo Wikia where you can find more information.
Sincere Regards,
Taekwondo Preschool

There are five tenets defined in the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) and several more in World Taekwondo (WT).
Integrity ( Yeom Chi / 염치 ): "Although it may be similar, this form of integrity takes on a more wider role then defined in the common dictionary. In taekwondo, integrity means not only to determine what is right or wrong but also having the conscience to feel guilt if one has done wrong and to have the integrity stand up for what is right." - Stories Preschool | Stories are effective educational tools because readers and listeners become engaged and therefore remember. Storytelling can be seen as a foundation for learning and teaching. While the storylistener is engaged, they are able to imagine new perspectives, inviting a transformative and empathetic experience. This involves allowing the individual to actively engage in the story as well as observe, listen and participate with minimal guidance.
